Hello my loves how are you doing? Last week I finally got the last parcel I was expecting for my wardrobe and now everything is perfectly organized. I’ll make a video on how I organize my wardrobe but today I wanted to review the jewellery organizers I got from Aliexpress.
I got a tray from Ikea for my wardrobe and my plan was to buy jewellery organizers to fit in. I’ve searched everywhere to find what I want in a normal price. From Etsy to amazon to local stores I explored all my options. I’m a bit disappointed with Etsy to be honest. I saw exactly the same products that I found on Aliexpress in double price. They even used the same photos! In the end I went for these light grey velvet jewellery tray organizers and a headband holder from Aliexpress and I don’t regret it at all. Although they are from different stores on Aliexpress all of them have the same grey colour. It would really bother me if they had different shades of grey to be honest, haha! So let’s see them one by one closer
Headband holder
On the previous houses that I lived so far I never had a headband holder although I had a few headbands. It’s the one thing that you don’t know you need until you get it! I adore mine and I’m very happy with it. Although it wasn’t very carefully packed it came intact.
size and quality
It’s big enough to fit 3 thin headbands and 7 normal to big ones. But it’s not very big in sense that it will stretch the headbands. For me it has the perfect size. The velvet holds the headbands and they don’t slip. Another thing that I wasn’t so sure about was the quality of the velvet. You know sometimes if the velvet has low quality it looks cheap, ugly and weird. This one is great though. You really can’t tell if I got it from a more expensive place.
price and Shipping
Moving on to the price. The headband was 7,57 euro and shipping was 15,11 euro. I know it doesn’t make sense to pay more for shipping that the actual product but I’ve searched a lot and the reviews on this one were great. Plus from the photos it looked big enough for my headbands and more importantly the same colour as the other organizers! Due to coronavirus it took more than one month to come but personally I didn’t mind.
jewellery trays
These jewellery trays are the pride and joy of my wardrobe! I LOVE how good they look and how well they keep all my jewellery organized! I have 5 of them on an Ikea tray that is 1 metre long and 55 cm deep. They don’t fit perfectly so there is still room left for other things. As you can see on the photos I placed next to them a gold seashell shape tray. Unfortunately there wasn’t any way to fit them perfectly inside that tray. Yes it bothers me a bit but that is probably just me and my obsession with things that fits perfectly, haha! I chose to place the jewellery organizers inside the wardrobe but these are stackable so you can have them on your desk or whenever you want to.
different styles
I got a few different styles regarding the jewellery trays. Here are what I chose and why
- Two flat plain trays. I was planning on using the one for necklaces and the for the other one I didn’t have any specific plan. So when they came and I saw that all of them couldn’t fit in (although you can stack them) I chose to use one for necklaces and one for belts. I’m actually thinking to get one more plain tray to have it for extra belts.
- 24 grid tray. You can use this one for rings or earrings but I also keep some fancy bobby bins in it. I don’t have a lot of rings (I actually have only one, haha!) so I decided to keep them all together!
- 18 cards tray. On this one I keep all my pedant necklaces and I can’t get enough of how cute it looks! You can also take out the cards and put whatever you like.
- 12 mini pillow tray. This one is perfect for watches! I have all of mine plus Alex’s. I also have there my extra straps for my Cluse watches.
- 6 grid tray. Last but definitely not least is this 6 grid tray which is ideal from sunglasses! On this one I also keep some fancier bobby pins that are bigger and they don’t fit on the 24 grid tray.
size and quality
Apart from the 6 grid tray for the sunglasses all the other ones have the same size (35cm x 24cm). The one for the sunglasses is 38cm x 18.5cm. Regarding their height all of these (apart from the one for the watches) have the same height which is 3cm. The pillow tray for the watches has 5cm height. I think that the quality in general is very good and they don’t look cheap at all. The quality of the velvet is great also on these. Honestly I’m not sure if on this price you could get a better quality that these!

And speaking of prices all these 6 together cost 72,43 and after a promo discount that the site had at the moment I order them it cost me 61,60. They came in two different packets and they were very carefully packed in bubble wraps. Shipping was free and they also did around a month to come. I was expecting it though because almost everything we ordered outside of the Netherlands was delayed.
Overall I’m extremely happy with all of these and I truly believe that they make the wardrobe looking better! I can finally have them all in display and I can get ready quicker in the morning. Each piece have it’s one place and it’s also easier to keep them organized! I will upload a detailed video on how I organize my wardrobe so keep an eye for that too! See you next time my loves!
