wardrobe freshers using bath bombs

Hello my sunshines! How are you? I finally finished with my wardrobe and it’s looking amazing if I may say so! I love my wardrobe to smell fantastic but I kind of find the common wardrobe fresheners very boring. So today I want to share with you a hack on how to make your closet smell divine! You probably already thought of this hack but I discovered it completely by luck. Around the end of April I got a Lush bath bomb because on the previous house we had a bathtub and I was planning to have the perfect bath time. But with the moving and all the stuff that we had to do unfortunately I didn’t have time to use it at all. So once we moved in the new house I put it in the closet because I didn’t know where else to put it with all the chaos that was happening. After we settled in I noticed that my wardrobe smelled amazing so I decided to turn it into a wardrobe freshener.

What you need

To make your own wardrobe fresheners you will need:

  1. A bath bomb of your choice
  2. Tissue paper or organza little bags or both
  3. Ribbon
  4. Scissors

how to make it

As I mentioned earlier the bath bomb I was was from Lush and more specifically was the “Sex Bomb” bath bomb. It’s my favourite smell ever from all the Lush products and I wish they made more products out of this smell. It reminds me of summer in Greece and it brings back amazing memories! So what I did was to break the bath bomb into large pieces with the help of a small hammer. Then I cut the tissue paper into rectangular pieces. I got it in pink (no surprise here!) but there are so many different colours to go for. After that I place each large piece into the tissue paper and wrapped it. I secured it with a ribbon et voila! I got myself some beautiful pouches and unique wardrobe fresheners!

More options

Instead of a tissue paper you can also go for little organza bags. They will look also very cute. Beware though because the bath bomb leaves a lot of “sand”. Because it’s not meant to be a wardrobe freshener once you break it some pieces will break into so fine pieces that look like sand. That was one of the reasons I went for the tissue paper instead of the organza bag. I didn’t want that sand to end up in the wardrobe. You can of course mix the two of them and place the tissue paper inside the organza bag. If you do that you won’t need the ribbon.

Whatever you go for though I’m sure that your clothes will smell fantastic! Let me know in the comments if you like posts like this one and if you find them helpful so I will continue do them. Talk to you soon my loves!
