If you know me I adore hair accessories and I wear them very often. Especially in winter that I have a lot of bad hair days (thank you wind!) I really need them! Apart from the fact that they can save a bad hair day they are also elevating any look and make it look more interesting. So here are my favourite hair accessories and some ways to wear them on your everyday life
Clip on fringe
Not exactly your typical hair accessory but personally I consider it one. I used to have a fringe when I was younger and although I don’t think that it suits me as well as my current hair style I miss it sometimes. So I got a clip on fringe for the days that I want to have one. Honestly a clip on fringe is the best thing ever because you have all the pros of having bangs but without the fuss. If you ever had bangs you can totally understand the pain to grow them back! IT TAKES AGES!!!!
Hair bow
Probably one of the cutest hair accessories to wear. Most of the times I wear them when I want my outfit to look cuter and more girly. There are a lot of option for hair bows right now in stores and personally I want to buy a bow tie in either velvet or satin finish. I love how pretty the bow looks with the ponytail and this hairstyle will be a great for the holiday season, don’t you think?
Hair scarf
Hair scarfs are my favourite hair accessories to wear in spring and summer time. Especially on vacations are an accessory that is stylish and practical at the same time. Having my hair half up on a ponytail and wrap a scarf around it is my favourite way to wear a hair scarf, so darn cute! It’s super easy and quick and it’s perfect for the days that you want to put a bit more effort but you don’t have that much time.
Bobby pins
Another accessory that is easy to throw on and look chic are the bobby pins. I have a few plain ones in gold colour but my favourites are the pearl ones. When it comes to bobby pins the above hairstyle is the one I prefer the most. Simple yet chic. And size does matter when it comes to pearl bobby pins so when I go for a big one I wear only one, max 2! But when I choose a simpler bobby pin or a smaller one I like to mix and max a few.
Headbands
Hands down my favourite hair accessory of them all! Literally there is a headband out there for every occasion and time of the day. The one I love the most is this black embellished headband from Zara that I got last year for a wedding. It’s so beautiful that I wear it all the time, yes even for a casual occasion! A headband looks good with so many hairstyles. Choose between straight or curly hair, ponytail or bun or anything else you can imagine and it will look good, ask Blair Waldorf if you don’t believe me!
Scrunchies
A childhood favourite, the scrunchie! I used to have so many scrunchies in different colours when I was younger, as I guess many 90s kids, but unfortunately I through them away when I was in high school. Recently though my love for scrunchies grew back again and I find myself purchasing more and more. Now I’m eyeing some in chiffon! I adore scrunchies with ponytails and it’s my go to hairstyle when I don’t want to put even the minimum effort.
