Hi beauties, this is the last post I’ll do about Black Friday 2021 but I wanted to show you what’s on my list/what I’ll get this year and why in case you are looking for inspiration for you or your loved ones.
So first on my list is my beloved Nars Natural Radiant Longwear foundation. It’s the best foundation for me and I love how it makes my skin looks. In summer time I use the shade “Deauville” mixed with a drop of Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter in the shade “light 2” . In winter I add to the mix a drop of L’Oreal True Match foundation in the shade “1N Ivory” to make it lighter. The combination of these create the perfect base in my opinion. The I set everything with the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder that is the second thing on my list this year. They came out this holiday season with a set of 3 that includes the setting powder in both travel and normal size + a puff. Such a great deal if you love this powder.
I wanted this year to upgrade my skin care game and after trying a couple of Elemis products I’m hooked to try more. So I’ve decided to invest in an anti-aging eye cream. I will also get the Naked Pro Collagen cleansing balm. This balm is the best for a luxury spa treatment feeling at home. I’ve tried both the original one as well as the rose one and I like them both. But the naked one is fragrance free and sometimes I prefer it over the other two.
The last thing that I will surely get are a couple of Gisou hair products. I’ve tried them last year for the first time and I saw such a HUGE difference on my hair that I now don’t want to use anything else. I will buy a big size mask and two conditioners to last me till next Black Friday. Speaking of hair products, I’m debating whether or not to get a second Aquis hair towel. I’m telling you this thing is the best if you have lots of hair. My hair is thick and it normally took me around 30 to 40 minutes to blow dry. After I started though to use the Aquis towel in combination with the Gisou primer I reduced the time to 15 minutes!
Of course I got also a few gifts for friends and family but I can’t name them at the moment because they will guess which one is theirs. I want have a few honorable mentions of things that I adored the past year and they are on sale now.
From the brand Gisou I love everything I’ve tried so far and that includes the mask, conditioner, hair oil, primer, heat protecting spray and shampoo. From Elemis I liked a lot the Pro Collagen Marine cream and I think it’s worth it. Now about makeup products I use all the time on my eyes the Colourpop Disney Designer Princess Collection palette and the Juvia’s Place Warrior palette. I also like the Kathleen Lights x Morphe palette but I think it was a limited edition and never came back. These three brands have great affordable eyeshadow palettes that last long. They are blendable and easy to use even from people that starts now to experiment with makeup. They will make fabulous Christmas gifts without breaking the bank!
I already mentioned the products I use for my makeup base and as an honorable mention I’ll tell you my favourite products for the cheeks. I loooovvveee the Nars Orgasm blush and the Laguna bronzer and they look great on my skin tone. Still have stock from last years Black Friday shopping, haha! The past couple of months though I discovered another product that stole my heart. It’s the Dior Dior Backstage Rosy Glow blush. Oh my goodness guys this blush is so beautiful and so luxurious that you need it in your life. It looks VERY bright on the pan but ones you apply it on the face it gives the most beautiful natural rosy look. According to Dior’s website “This healthy glow booster brightens the cheeks with natural-looking color, like a breath of fresh air. Infused with Color Reviver technology, it reacts to the skin’s moisture level upon application for a customized rosy effect.” and I confirm that! Unfortunately, still haven’t found the perfect hightlighter for me, so if you have any recommendations I would love to hear them!
Onto the eyebrows and if you follow me for a while you know that the only products I use on my eyebrows are the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in the shade “Medium Brown” and the Brow Freeze. I apply the colour with the 7B brush from the same brand and for the brow wax I use disposable no name mascara/brow wands (I use them multiple times though and wash them). The last makeup product before I move to makeup brushes is the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in the shade “Pillow Talk”. The shade matches my lips so well and the formula is so good that it glides on the lips! Definitely will get more shades from this lip pencil.
And last but definitely not least are makeup brushes and randomly some makeup buds, yes you read that right.. makeup buds! I have Mac brushes for YEARS and I really like them but the last few years I expanded my brush collection with Luxie Beauty brushes. They are amazing, very good price and most importantly they don’t lose any hairs! I hate when I wash my makeup brushes and they leave hairs behind.. I randomly as I said discovered the MYKITCO. My Mini ‘On Point’ Buds and I’m obsessed! They are pointy small buds ideal to correct the eyeliner or any other very precise mistake that you might did on your makeup! I’m telling you they are really worth it!
