I wanted to talk about my Renne baguette huggie hoops from the La Femme collection by S-kin Studio Jewelry from the moment I got my hands on them but by the time they arrived they were already sold out so I didn’t want to get you all excited and then tell you it’s sold out! La Femme is the second collaboration of S-kin Studio Jewelry x Hegia de Boer and it was another success. The pieces were amazing and understandably almost everything went sold out pretty quickly.
I have good news though as the earrings are coming back and you have a very very limited window to shop them, so I would advise you to be quick! Αctually, you have only 24 hours to pre-order them and the clock is already ticking. And if you don’t want the gold and black version that I have you can also pre-order the gold and transparent one that is called Serah. One other piece from the collection that you can pre-order is the Estelle necklace and I can see on their website that there are also a few pieces left of the Sylvia necklace. The Sylvia necklace is very similar to the Sophie necklace I got from their first collaboration called Fleur and is one of my most worn necklaces ever!
I bought the Renne hoops back in June and they arrived somewhere in the middle of July so it’s been 5 months now. They are 9K gold filled with black onyx baguette stones and they are the most elegant earrings. They have the perfect size for my face as they are not too big or too small. Dimensions are: 10x12mm click fasten hoops and 4x2mm black onyx baguette stones. When it comes to jewellery I’m very careful with them no matter how much they cost, so I never wear them in the shower or sea/pool and always take them out before I go to sleep. I also never apply perfume on top of them or anything else that can harm them. Being said that I can’t tell you how well they last under the above circumstances but everything I have from S-kin Studio is in pristine condition. Yes, even the ones I got last year and wore to death! Still as shiny and beautiful as the day they arrived!
What I love the most about the Renne earrings is that you can wear them all day long and you can dress them up or down depending what you are wearing. The black onyx gives a more interesting look to the earrings in my opinion and it looks stunning. They are very lightweight and super comfortable to wear all day, so much that I sometimes touch them to see if they are still on my ears, haha! Although I think that is not that easy to lose them as they close pretty well and once you hear the click when you fasten them the earrings are secure. They are delicate, timeless and dainty which makes them the ideal gift for you or your loved ones. Something that you or them can cherish forever. One more thing that blew my mind off are the details on these. They are handcrafted and you can definitely see the work that went on them as they are very well made, shiny and look perfect.
They cost 92 euro but keep in mind that you’ll need to pay also import taxes depending were you live. I had to pay 24 euro extra for the taxes but it’s worth it! Don’t know about you but personally I don’t mind paying more money if the quality is great and I know that I can have the product for many years. After my early 20s I shop more responsibly in order to protect the environment and of course my bank account, haha!
Overall I’m extremely happy with them and I will continue to buy from S-kin Studio. The only regret I have was not to get the Rinoa necklace that is now sold out forever! So if you don’t also to regret it, now is the time to pre-order the earrings and then let’s start together a petition to bring Rinoa back!
